What was your inspiration?

I was working on a series of Reading Character bookmarks that had a three-dimensional head that hanges outside the book. My daughter saw them and said she wanted me to make a Raggedy Ann and Andy so she could give them as a gift to someone who loves these characters.

What are you most proud of?

I love how she came out. I love her cap and the way the penefore is made to make it ruffle.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is not a hard project and works up in about 8 hours. The pattern give great instructions on making this pattern and on finishing it. There are picture tutorials on various steps. The hooks is larger than is usually used in thread crochet which makes it easier to see where the stitches go.
