What was your inspiration?
I wanted a skirt that would be full and romantic for a wedding in August. It also needed to be easy to wear and care for. This dresses up to be edgy and eye catching, goes will with beautiful sweaters, lots of accessories, fabulous heels. It also dresses down to barefoot and tank top. I love this kind of versatility.
What are you most proud of?
The drape and grace of this skirt as well as the "go anywhere" style. Also this pattern is based as a recipe so anyone of any size can make and wear this skirt without alot of complicated instructions.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you stretch the garment as you go along as the finished length will be longer than the working length, use a relaxed tension and enjoy your new skirt!
