What was your inspiration?
I am using my stash. These six inch blocks I have had for over eight years.
We needed a very utilitarian quilt, so I was sure that this stack would work.
What are you most proud of?
That I used up these old blocks. That I found some great fabric for the small & large borders. I really like the backing. Now this quilt isn't as homely as it was to begin with.
I really like the Hearts & Flowers quilting design, that is an all over pattern, that was enlarged.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This one is a piece of cake. Have fun with it.
