What was your inspiration?

I seen this pattern online and just had to try it! Although I look terrible in hats, I think most people can pull this off!

What are you most proud of?

I'm very proud of the fact that I take great pride in anything that I make.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be familiar with crochet, and don't make this a, "first" project, start with something easy like a scarf or dishcloth.

how and where would I adjust the pattern to create a little "less" slouch?

You would need to decrease towards the end of the pattern.

This just means to slip stitch in the third chain of you first chain 3-the 29 means thats how many pattern repeats you should have when you finish round 1. so you should have 29, (2dc, ch2, sc). Now as you start round 2...you slip stitch in the first chain 2 space of your first pattern repeat, so in the pattern, (2dc,ch2,sc) you will be slip stitching into that chain 2 space, then you continue with the round.

*so what it means is that you slip stitch on the single stitch of the first chain of the row I finished...since the third chain was the single crochet?

So I read the whole pattern...and the beanie ends up being the same length (like all the rows are the same result) except for when you join it together...making it form in a star shape...

Oh okay so then after I chain 3 I do a double crochet and then I chain 2 and do a single crochet all in the same stitch...so in total its 2 double crochets and a single crochet? And then I proceed to do the same, but skip 2 chains and do that all around right?

Yes, you got it! The chain 3 in the beginning counts as your first dc...excellent!

I dont know of any video. Let me know exactly where you are having trouble and I will try to explain it to you. after you slip stitch the chain to form a circle u chain 3, then do your, (dc, ch2, sc) in that same stitch where you joined the chain to make a circle. You do all three stitches in the same stitch. Then you skip 2 chains and continue with pattern with a (2 dc, chain 2, sc) all in the next chain after skipping the two.

I think you looked at the Urban Jungle Beanie not the Urban Revival. They are 2 different patterns. Urban Jungle uses the puff
