What was your inspiration?

Pixies, gnomes, elves, wood sprites and all sorts of elusive and mystical creatures.... and being warm in the winter. This hat does a nice job of keeping you cozy by enveloping your ears and neck.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It is an easy project that requires no sewing. These are the techniques you need to complete it: cables, picking up stitches, 3-needle bind-off.

I love this hat and I have 3 granddaughtersd that will look the pixiest ages 3 , 6 , 10! Pelase do, I make hats for charity and love the pattern-I'm always changing patterns because I get tired of the ones I have. I'e made over 200hats since last December I make them for Fish and a Baby Pantry in my area and would love to add some of your hat to my repertorie.
