What are you most proud of? Handles have been reinforced w/cotton twill tape on the inside, & the embroidered the length of @ handle w? a "Star Stitch" using luminence White Metallic Embroidery Thread.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? 1.) Carefully deconstruct any prepurchased bag using a SHARP seam ripper. Rip every 3rd stitch, & be careful with any 'layered' overstitching. 2.) After taking apart selected bag, spray with heavy spray starch, let air dry & then press out any & all creases, taking care NOT to excessively stretch the fabric &/or grainlines. 3.) Make note of the indiviual fabric pieces size/shape/location/function, & adjust the liniing section(s) that you cut using the course instructions accordingly.
