After seeing the class, I think I would remove the two plants in the edge and add two different shape and tall light color plants. then small ones in the front of the two in the middle with contrast color like yellow. :)

I like Isasas's comment below - while it's looking pretty good, you might consider adding taller plants on the end to soften the hard lines of the walls. And there's lots of green foliage here - how about a plant with maroon foliage? Or variegated gold and green?

in front of the bricks on each side of the windows... you could plant two tall shrubs that would care the color of your edging bricks... making your windows pop.... then paint the cross frames of your window and your front door, a bright yellow, and add some small 8-12 inch yellow perennials at the base of your two green shrubs below the window for balance and contrast.
