For this tote bag I used an upcycled Ralph Loren tablecloth and a dish towel to accent the handles.

What was your inspiration?

I had bought the Ralph Lauren fabric (table cloth) at a thrift store and the dish towel at a 99 cent store. The two fabrics just "spoke" to me one day and said "make something!"

What are you most proud of?

This is the third bag I have made using the two fabrics. I actually sold a larger size tote bag to someone who just loved the fabric. Who could ask for more?

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Look at thrift stores for old tablecloths to give a vintage look to your totes.
