upcycled toddler dress

Instructions

For refrence DD wears a 2T shirt but this dress will stretch MUCH bigger.I started with an adult size medium shirt.
Cut out neckline and arms out and take pocket off. (if there is one!) DD is also short for her age so I took about 1-2 inches off at chest height also (so it looks like you have a seperate top and bottom) and sewed / serged back together. I like her dresses a little longer so ...

What size does the child normally wear and what size did you Tshirt start as, please? I am sure my 2X would not work for my size 6 granddaughter.

My daugher wears a 2t but is on the slim side of it. I started with a adult size medium tee shirt. I will try my best to get instructions up soon!
