Old sweatshirt, fabric, peltex, grommets, and magnetic snap.

What was your inspiration?

I saw a similar purse for sale on Amazon and had just discovered this old sweatshirt in a box. It was a bit stained and HUGE, so it was perfect for this project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have fun and add some exterior pockets!

YAY! And I wouldn't dare cover those precious words! I just sliced into the sweathshirt, slipped the straps in, and zig-zagged over the hole. Gotta love knits. BTW, I'm working on a Penn State pillow. Appliqued with a "heart" on State College.
