Instructions

I "up-cycled" a small, clear plastic vinyl zipper bag that bedding comes in. I took off the zipper (to "up cycle" for something else:)!) and then, using my sewing machine, attached double fold seam binding to the finish the edges (this step optional). I then sewed on 2 stretchy hair elastics (you could also use regular elastic) to fit/loop around my front serger feet. Easy on/off for emptying, ...

What was your inspiration?

I love "repurposing" items and using things I already have to make something I need.
It appeals to the crafty, frugal Irish girl in me!

What are you most proud of?

I used items I already had and the bag works great for its purpose!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Use a sharp needle and longer stitch length to sew thru the vinyl bag and seam binding.
