I have been making placemats and ground camping mats from grocery bags for a while. Nice way to recycle.

My friend's mother used to make rugs out of those little bags that newspapers come in. That was in the days before plastic grocery bags. This certainly makes saving supplies for them easier. I'll have to try it.

I tried this idea last summer making a mat for the door at our cottage. It sure takes lots of bags. I envisioned myself collecting bags and making wonderful things. I'm over that now.
