Cotton Fabric

What was your inspiration?

To have a go and make a statement pillow cover similar to the high street ones at a fraction of the cost, with a unique look each time you choose a different combination of fabric. I love to recycle old fabrics from charity shops and this vintage inspired design lends itself beautifully to that.

What are you most proud of?

Mixing the floral with the stiped fabric in lots of layers.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take your time measuring and cutting the strips of fabric and press carefully as you go. it's time consuming to layer the white first then the striped fabric but as you can see from the close up photographs it's well worth while.
