Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Traditional

Materials

homespun , quilters cotton, batting and lining

What was your inspiration?

Being English but living in australia I wanted to make a union jack cushion for my son and daughter.

What are you most proud of?

That I did it totally without a pattern or measurements. I cut squares into triangles and went from there adding strips as I went and hoped for the best.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Start with whatever size square you want and then go for it and use whatever colours take your fancy.

Very cool. Great job! FYI - I have seen some ready made items for sale made with other fun color combinations, and since the Union Jack design is so recognizable, it still works!
