What was your inspiration?

My grandson's uniforms that I have saved from the time he first started baseball the year he was in kindergarten. The second couch throw is other uniforms from his older brother. Travis' quilt is quite large and will fit a king size bed.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud of my grandson, he is in college. This quilt was finished just after his graduation. I couldn't get it done for his graduation party. I salvaged sleeve numbers, small and large logos as is shown in the video. Hardly anything went to waste.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't throw anything away. I just saved the uniforms over the years with not a total plan until the last few years when the quilt started to become a reality. I began making the squares a few years before they were sewn together.
