What was your inspiration?
I had done a Hunter's Star kit and loved the design. When I saw the fabric, I really liked the richness of the colours and it would match the room which had been newly painted
What are you most proud of?
That I was able to do the quilt in strip paper piecing. I don't think I ever would have been able to finish it using my first method of trying to match and slide the ends to fit. Oh, and doing my own design for the first time.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The paper piecing course made all the difference. Once I got my head around it, I followed the instructions to the letter, including ironing everything.
