Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: This Under the Sea 2 tier cake is vanilla and chocolate with strawberry and cream cheese frosting. All the decorations are edible (fondant), some are a mix of fondant and gum paste. I also used a bit of tylose for some- in order for my decorations to harden up a bit. I made the small starfish' by hand and the larger ones I used the large Woody Sheriff Star Badge and reshaped the "arms". The "wave" effect was made with white and a bit of blue fondant mixed together and cut into strips- I added piping gel just to the bottom of the strip as to be able to pull away the top and create a "wave" effect.
