Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Color Play for Quilters »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Funky

Materials

Cotton fabrics, cotton and tribal poly threads.

What was your inspiration?

The complementary color scheme. The strips were randomly cut with a rotary cutter, turned under, placed and sewn down. The tree was added to make it look like a landscape.

What are you most proud of?

That for once I was able to easily choose fabrics for the quilt. This is something I struggle with. I used what I learned in Color Play and went to my stash and picked out a bunch of fabrics to fit my chosen color scheme.

This is beautiful. One day, I would like to make a landscape quilt.

This looks great! How large is the quilt? I'd like to get an idea of the scale.
