What materials did you use? Old umbrella, fabric, crochet cotton No 10

What are you most proud of? How the fabric fitted the umbrella frame perfectly.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Look at thrift stores for old umbrella's that have the little nibs on the ends of the spokes that are removable. After you take the nibs off the old fabric keep them in a sealed bottle so you don't loose them.

You done a great job, it looks like you went back in time and stole a parasol!

Absolutely stunning. What a wonderful heirloom this would make. I would love to have a go. Any help towards achieving this goal would be much appreciated.

This is beautiful. Is the doily pattern you used available?

Yes it is. I will look for the book I got the pattern out of and post it as soon as I can.

This is stunning. I keep trying to leave a comment but nothing is working yet! This would make a wonderful hairloom and I think I would love to give it a go. The dolly pattern would be much appreciated please and any other help and advice. You are a very clever person.
