In order to make this cake perfectly you have to watch the video at least 3 or 4 times. Under no circumstances deviate from Alice's instructions she knows what she is talking about. What are you most proud of?
This is only the third time in my life I have baked a cake. When I shared it with my team at the office they were convinced I had bought it. I gushed at the compliments people paid me. I will definately be baking this one again.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You MUST view Alice's video at least 3 times, there are nuisances in baking this cake and she gives you all the tips. Make sure you allow plenty of time to prepare and bake it. From start to finish, I spent a total of 6 hours (well worth it). Lastly, this do NOT buy cheap chocolate you simply won't get the same results. This is NOT a cake to waste on a small child. I would rate it as an adult cake because of it is rich in taste and texture and would be a waste of money giving it to a child.
