What was your inspiration?

I love vintage fabrics, and really wanted to get an antique look for my bedroom

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the border...I had a LOT of triangles left over, so I kept piecing them together till I came up with this. Not sure if someone thought if it before me, but, it was a lot of work and a lot of fun putting it together and letting the colors morph and change throughout the border, almost like the do in the quilt itself.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a King size. I didn't start out thinking it would be this big, but, I just stuck with it, and did it one square at a time.
Although I pre-washed the backing, when I washed it when it was finished (to remove some quilt pen from it) the backing bled, and now the quilt is mostly pink! : (
