What was your inspiration?

These slippers came to me while visiting my friends farm. After tramping through the mud and the muck we were welcomed in to the sweet smell of home cooking and a box of hand knit slippers to choose from. Every home should have a box of hand knit slippers to choose from.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

These were the first slippers I've made that weren't loosey-goosey they fit my daughter perfectly. I'm going to make more soon, thank you!

Love to knit slippers and socks-my dad always said I got it from my great-great grandfather---he was blink but knit socks for everyone in the family by measuring their feet with his hand. I didn't get to meet him but I know it would have been so m;uch fun!
