What was your inspiration?

Looks like a nice pattern and is my style. Will upload photo once it is completed.

What are you most proud of?

I am having a hard time setting the sleeves into the body. First I did it with right sides together and used a mattress stitch. This looked awful. So I did some research and decided to start again , this time weaving in the edges. This had varying success. Next time I will try and use a straight stitch as in sewing with right sides together. I am sufficiently happy with it so I will leave it until I decide it needs to be redone. The beauty after all is in the finishing! Just working on putting the sleeves together now. I found the wrist to a little narrow so I am leaving a slit there.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I added about 3 inches to the rib. I am 5 8 and not a sping chicken so a cropped top does not work! I really like the pattern and probably do one in cotton with short sleeves.
I also saw an opportunity to do a 3 needle bindoff to put front and back together so as to avoid sewing together! The result is very nice.

From memory if you go to your designer page and select editors you should be able to add me there ... try this link http://www.ravelry.com/designers/alice-halbeisen/editors if you add me helenannedesigns as a voluenteer edior I can make the correction to the right link for you :D.. Also you might have an option for setting up your preferences if you allow all volenteer ediors then we can automaticly fix things when we find them... Have a great day .. feel free to contact me here or there if you need further help... on here maybe just copy the link I posted below under your project info? then someone can see it easy? sorry I don't think crafty has voluenteer ediors yet :D

Hi I'd really like to make this pattern but your link is leading some where else? Not to the pattern?

Ok I just tried and the pattern does not seem to be available. I got it out of the book. Try your local library or search the internet a bit more. Hope you find it.

I really like this. Simple, but beautiful.
