I misread the directions and ended up with twice as many pieced strips as solids. I ran with it - why not? After the second layout I remembered I wanted to make this crib-size, not square, then I wondered if I could connect all the green parts. Almost. Now I wonder if it will give a kid nightmares.

Thank you to those who commented, I've posted the finished quilt. It turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself. And it was a lot of fun to do, I have ideas for several more.
