Paper Crafts: Twins Anybody?

Twins Anybody?

Twins Anybody?

Twins Anybody?

Instructions

I used a By Lori Design digi stamp for this card and paper pieced the little onesies, colored in the babies with copic markers, and then used a Martha Stewart paperpunch to make the embellishment around the card.

I'm not a big fan of this card-it leaves me a little dissapointed. The card needs some pop, so I guess this is still a work in progress (she mumbles to herself frustratingly!)

Difficulty:

Category: Paper Crafts

For: Unisex

Style: Cute, Traditional, Casual, Classic

Materials

Cardstock, Designer Paper, Paper Punch, Spellbinders, Copic Markers

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to try a new technique using a corner punch to make a border around a base card. I like the end result using the corner punch gave. I'll have to try this technique again.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I guess don't give up even when your project leaves you feeling a little - blah! I'm putting this one aside and will pick it up to work on again in the future sometime. Luckily I don't know anyone having twins anytime soon!

Why don't you use ultra fine glitter for their onesies and her bow? I think that would add a little pop. I have twin girls and I absolutely love your card. Did By Lori Designs have a twin girl digi stamp?

What a good idea - glitter always gives "pop". BLD doesn't have an all girl twin stamp but they are digi stamps so you could use any of her baby girl stamps and print two little girl babies. Thanks for the feedback on my card.
