What was your inspiration?

Springtime & Easter. Two of my photog friends wanted animal hat props for their upcoming photo sessions, so I decided to write down my pattern as I completed their requests.

What are you most proud of?

The versatility of this pattern. One pattern - many animal options!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Measure as you go. Everyone crochets a bit different and since you can use different yarn types with this project, it's best to measure your child's head and make sure the hat size will match.
