When I made this I used all cotton scraps and a light batting. i machine quilted around the birds and put a pocket on the back in order to hang it up on a wall. i also added buttons to the birds which was not included in the pattern.
What was your inspiration?
I loved the pattern and thought it could bring a smile to someone's face. everyone at my quilt guild got a laugh out of it and thought it was very cute.
What are you most proud of?
That cute things like this can make the difference in someone's day and know that I did it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
this project is very simple. I did it and so can you.
