What materials did you use? Tweed/twill zippers hooks for closures

I really enjoyed making these. However, I didn't pick a fabric that had enough stretch for such tight pants. But that wouldn't be a problem if they weren't so itchy. I haven't mastered adding lining to pants yet. Also, I did something funky with the rear. Flat but affect! And the zippered pocket. I think this is also considered a welted pocket. The pattern wanted me to just fake it, and put the zipper on top! But I said, heck no, I know how to do a welted pocket. But I had a problem on the corner of this, which you can see. Maybe I cut to close at the edge? Thanks Mr. King for great tips!

Very inspiring! Have you considered putting pieces of a lining fabric (on the biais) directly on the tweed fabric where it is itchy? You could sew the sides of the lining pieces to the pants seams, and finish the two other sides with pinking shears.

Thank you so much!

A very cool and functional design feature! If you sew this well, learning to put in a lining will be a snap!
