What was your inspiration?
My sister had seen someone with a similar bag and she asked me if I could make one for my niece. She described the bag over the phone and I began searching for a pattern. When I didn't find one, I had to figure out the entire process through trial and error. At this point, I knew there needed to be a pattern for all of the little princesses out there.
What are you most proud of?
The pattern is simple to follow with straight forward directions and lots of pictures. Beginner sewers have consistently commented on how easy this pattern is to follow.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use ball point needles when sewing with the tulle. I wish I had know this ahead of time - universal needles will make you pull your hair out!
