What was your inspiration?

My inspiration from sewing for a children dress factory that I used to work for in the late eighty.I work for Ginger Jones of California, Gingerbread of California.I had a small dressmaking business and I was a contractor for this Company. I learned to sew at the age of 14. My Clothing teacher said I would never learn to sew because I worked on a gym for 3 months. I was the only one still working on a gym bag while the other students were making skirts and blouse's. I love being creative in what I do. You name it I have made it with or without a pattern.

What are you most proud of?

Getting most of my sewing experience from many manufacture in
Los Angles California . I was a single parent, raising 4 children by myself. I was able to feed and cloth my children with gift of knowing how to sew. It is a Life Time Gift. I was always able to making money from sewing.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Start with small project, take some sewing class that will help to advance in the area they want to focus on. Learning to sew can be one of the best thing in your life. It is a great way to relax and be creative. You will never get bored.

I love this. I want to make some tutus for my g-daughters but all the direction I see on-line are for the no-sew kind. I want the "sew" kind.

All you need is a basic circle tail skirt pattern for a little girl. then you add you lace or netting ruffle. It's very simple. Good Luck. Feel free to ask for help.
