I love making lunch totes/wine totes in different fabrics.
Makes great birthday gifts for the gals at the office.
What are you most proud of?
I pad the interior beverage pockets and keep the pocket bottoms open. It keeps the bottled beverages secure from smashing other items inside the bag.
I line all my bags and totes. They're handsome and always have such a finished look--inside and out. A liner also adds strength to the carrying straps. AND--it's reversible. Yeah!!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Giving your personal best on each project begins with pressing. Press fabric before you cut--it truly reduces mistakes . Continue to press pieces during construction.
