The ribbon is made of hand dyed silk in tones of brilliant blues with slight hints of green and brown. Lovely and soft. Strung onto the silk wrap are 3 old buttons from the Middle East. The center one is slightly larger than the other two and has a smaller disc dangling from it... fantastic for belly dancing or just to wear on a warm summer day. The metal is very light weight and has lovely patina. They are old and quite aged which adds to their uniqueness and gives them a look of antiquity. The center one has a slight greenish patina from its copper content, goes magnificently with the turquoise color in the ribbon.
