What are you most proud of? Hand-made sugar feathers and the beak and wattle of the bird. Those were my favorite pieces once the entire cake was complete.

I hand-cut the feathers and prepared them as you would heavy peony petals. Painted details with luster dust. I used imprint mats to get the look of the breast and for each of the circles. I basically sculpted the head and neck from RKT then covered in fondant and hand-sculpted in the details. Added the eyelids and waddles last. :)
