What was your inspiration?

All those cute hand made dresses out there ... wanted to do one in Tunisian Crochet :-)

What are you most proud of?

That I did it! I'm not a professional pattern designer.
Used my new 5 mm - 10" double end crochet hook for the first time to do the skirt... used lilac to make the vertical bars and mint green for the horizontal. It was so easy and fun to do Tunisian in the round... I straight away ordered the other 3 larger hooks!!
The pictures don't do the dress justice!

Sorry, no pattern... only basic notes as I went along...

It's beautiful, Carla -- do you have a particular baby girl in mind? I love the subtly contrasting purples, and the Tunisian crochet is very feminine.

Thank you, Heather! No particular baby, no... still waiting for that first grand-baby ;-) Kids keep telling me to stop hinting *lol* I was very surprised how well the TS stitch worked for the dress!

This is a beautiful dress. I would love to make one like it for my soon to be born niece. Any chance you will write up the pattern to sell?
