What was your inspiration?
Jennifer Hansen's great course! I also knew it was something that my sister-in-law would love, so she was an inspiration as well. The garment isn't really my style, even though I love the technique and loved making it. So I was happy to have someone to make it for.
What are you most proud of?
That I finished it! It took about a month for each panel. I did start getting a little bored of it sometimes, so I took breaks from it. Then the edging and blocking took about another month. So it was a long project, which I hadn't done in a while.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just follow along with Jennifer. She's a great teacher. Very clear and precise. I followed this whole course, beginning to end, and it was really great.
