What materials did you use? I used AC cotton knit fabric and the June's Spring stencil downloaded from the AC site cut out of felt from AC.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The stenciling is very easy, however some of the designs did not come out because, I think, the cuts were too small. Before using this stencil again, I think I will enlarge some of the smaller cutouts.

Love it - especially the color!

So cute! I've been eyeing this stencil for a long time, and now really want to make it. Can you say more specifically which of the shapes you would want to enlarge?

Faux, how to describe the shapes, pretty hard. I guess it would be easiest to say the ones that look like snow flakes. There are two styles. One of the two, the one with the larger sections, I could kind of figure out, but the one with a lot of tiny, tiny sections didn't come out at all, and I honestly wasn't even sure I wanted to stitch them. I replaced that one with larger dark blue circles. Also the plant stems (ferns maybe) didn't always come out - lots of imagination went into those. I ended up drawing them in with a gray pen. It worked out better than the chalk I tried and the stitches covered it up.

Thanks for the explanation - I'll watch out for that. I hope you can stand one more question: at the top of the tank stencil near the center is a circle with a bold dark blue border. Is that beading, or just a really cool embroidery stitch I need to learn about?

Just gorgeous, and I love the color!
