Novita 7 Veljesta and Jussi yarn
What was your inspiration?
My son has lost pretty much everything I knitted him for last winter, so I had to put something together really fast. Initially these were supposed to go with the socks, but turns out that the 7 Veljesta gray is a lot darker than the Jussi yarn, so my idea for a 'socks and mittens' set didn't work out. I wanted to make a pattern to add some warmth to these and initially thought of a herringbone, but then got lazy and made every step as simple as possible.
