What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is meant to fit a
baby up to about a year old, or 24 pounds. Our model baby is 9 months old
and her mom reports that the hat fits perfectly.
You will need one worsted-weight yarn (or slightly heavier) and one sock
yarn. I used 2 partial skeins of Nashua Handknits Paradise in Lavender for
the worsted-weight and 1 skein of Patons Kroy Sock Yarn in purple for the
sock yarn.
