What materials did you use? Repurposed denims, khakis and corduroy pants

What are you most proud of? The illusion of movement in this stunning quilt is created by straight-line stitching as well as the gradation between lights and darks.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Sort your old denims into four or five contrasting shades: light, medium-light, medium, medium-dark, and darks. Press seams OPEN when assembling quilt blocks.

Fantastic...and using denim too?! Inspired!. I'm hoping to do a SaS quilt for my big project next year...Which size block do you recommend? (there seem to be 2 sizes of templates)

Hi Tsunami, My name is Sandy and I'm looking for help on patching/repairing a blanket. I have an old quilt that was my mom's. My brother got it after she passed. He had a new puppy at the time and she wanted to "snuggle" in the blanket. The blanket was old and fragile and couldn't hold up to the love the puppy was giving the blanket. I want to repair it for my brother but have no idea how to start as I have never quilted before. Please help with tips on how to repair a blanket that has seen a love and has a lot more to give! Thanks, Sandy
