What was your inspiration?
Designed for a nephew going to college, this terrific quilt was easy on the pocketbook and a warm hug from home.
What are you most proud of?
The illusion of movement in this stunning quilt is created by straight-line stitching as well as the gradation between lights and darks.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Sort your old denims into four or five contrasting shades: light, medium-light, medium, medium-dark, and darks. Press seams OPEN when assembling quilt blocks.
