What materials did you use? Cotton batiks

What are you most proud of? Every seam on this quilt was a "Y" seam and I didn't realize it until I had started but I didn't let it stop me. It slowed me down but the end result was worth the time it took. I also had to enlarge the pattern to fit my h/s triangles and that was challenging in itself.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go slow and take your time sewing it together.

Okay. Maybe I'm not looking deeply enough but it "seams" to me that this can be made with NO Y- seams. It would take some planning but I think it could be done. Watch out---new Folk School class coming up!!!

I really love this pattern and you did a beautiful job putting it together and quilting. Where can I get this pattern?

I found this pattern in Quiltmaker magazine July/Aug 2010 issue.

Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments which inspire me to make more quilts and to step up the degree of difficulty. I found this pattern in Quiltmaker magazine July/Aug 2010 issue. I've entered it in the local quilt show so we'll see how well it does against some competition.

Tremendous quilting. I love all the "different looks" you can see in this quilt. I am a new quilter and you have challenged me with this design. Say a prayer, I'm diving in!
