What materials did you use? Various threads and yarns in black, silver and white - and one in red

What are you most proud of? The choice of threads and yarns - I was lucky to find such different thread and yarns at trade fairs and in a museum that produces these ribbons on old historic machines.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just do it!

Gorgeous! Love the triptych idea and the red line that connects them all seamlessly! It's great to see black and white used in such a genius piece.

Wonderful detail! Each section is true eye candy. I think, however, my favorite part is the couched bead necklace in the center piece along with the red "river" running through the entire design.

OOh, I love these pieces, never thought of doing black and white!

Love these I think I will follow your great sample for a pillow as I am making a black and white with a little red quilt now. I hope you don't mind.
