Mildred on

My attempts at using a tripod and camera fully on manual mode.

Mildred, for a first attempt, they came out very nice. I really like the daffodils and the second photo of the rose. I like the layers of the petals and that the front petals are in focus but I'd like to see more of the center in focus as well.

Thanks BethD03! It was a breezy evening and the tripod I have is not very steady. Also still learning to use the 'manual' setting. Thank you for the suggestions. Will keep trying!

It takes some time (and patience!) to get used to working with a tripod. You've done a nice job here. I especially like the first image of the yellow flowers. The blurred background makes the bright yellow flowers pop. The middle rose shot is my favorite of the three. The first one has an out of focus green leaf that could be cropped out.
