This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Machine Quilting: Free-Motion & More »

Instructions

Though quilting is difficult to see, I echo quilted the red section in the shape of the black couched cord. On the tribal print side I outlined several of the shapes. There is a full-length pocket on both the back and inside lining. I pinched and sewed the bottom two corners to give the purse a little width of approximately an inch.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Hipster

Materials

Fabric scraps, zipper, warm & natural batting, black cord (couching), cream cord (strap), beads, craft fuse to give body to the back

What was your inspiration?

The tribal print scrap called to me.

What are you most proud of?

The quilting and overall appearance of the finished bag.
