What was your inspiration?
I knit mostly in Alpaca and/or llama, and these shawls are an easy way to showcase the colors and warmth of the camelid fibers, especially with the added ribbon for sheen.
What are you most proud of?
This one was purchased, but I have many others of various sizes and color combinations, and at least 3 on the needles now. So, finishing one, is what I am most proud of!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Keep it simple; easy way to introduce some lace; start with a simple variegated and/or solid yarn, Less ends to weave in after you're done. And it looks a lot better after it is blocked - don't get discouraged!
