What materials did you use? I couched ribbons, flosses, yarns, twisted fabrics, cord from my blinds and anything else I thought would give a ropy look. I mounted it on a wooden frame I designed for the piece to make it 3D then mounted lights inside for a beautiful glow. I mounted the scraps from my Tree on my trim in my kitchen...couldn't throw them away

What are you most proud of? This piece turned out how I envisioned it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Step out of the box...if it fits under your presser foot...sew it. Carol's class makes it all clear..."There are no mistakes".

WOW!,! now all I need to do is find the outside of my box. Thanks for the inspiration.
