What was your inspiration?

I am fascinated with the hyperbolic crochet coral reefs that are showing up all over the world and thought I would make a layered scarf with some of these elements.

This scarf pattern has three tiered layers added to the pearls on the sea floor. The seaweed layer is made using a variation of the new crocodile stitch with a picture tutorial. The next layer is sea shell followed by a coral reef layer. The pattern also includes complete instructions for making the darling Sea Horse pin.

What are you most proud of?

I love how this came out. I really love the little sea horse pin. I also love the layered affect.
