What was your inspiration?
Art FiberFEST in Washington.....an annual art retreat. I wanted to get in as a teacher and came up with this idea....and I did! The first tassel I made like this was completely from discarded ephemera. I have a tutorial available in my Etsy store with over 80 close up pictures and close to 75 pages. Any one can make these and they are so much fun. It's a great project to use all the little bits and pieces you have been saving but didn't know why!
What are you most proud of?
That it came completely from my own imagination and there is nothing else (as far as I know) like this out in the craft world.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be free and make lots of mistakes because mistakes are opportunities that force you to be original and think out of the box.
