Make It

This project was made from an independent Craftsy designer's pattern:
Travel Tray »

Instructions

I skipped the top stitching and made my pieces 8" x 10" to fit and iPhone. I know the instructions said to use plain fabric inside, but I wanted my Husband to see the skulls and hope they make him smile each morning and night when he gets back to his hotel room.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Functional

For: Men

Style: Whimsical

Materials

1/2 of two different fat quarters, some cotton batting 4 snaps

What was your inspiration?

My husband is very suit and tie at work, yet rock & roll at home. He has to travel from time to time for his job and I hope this adds a rock & roll flair to his Suit and tie business trips.

What are you most proud of?

This was the first time "quilting" anything, I think I did o.k.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

take your time and make a practice one first.... I did and I am glad I did.
