What was your inspiration?
The need to have a purse that would let me shop 'hands free'. Small enough to be light weight, large enough to hold a cell phone, wallet, camera and other small items.
What are you most proud of?
Very inexpensive and QUICK to make! Another stash fabric project that makes the most out of beautiful prints that are too luxurious to throw away!
On the purple one, on the photo showing the back, you can see where I stitched in the recipients name - I'll give her a chance to discover that on her own :)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Let your needs as to size and desires for colors be your inspiration. These make wonderful gifts as well so perhaps using up your scraps will accomplish two goals at once, the use of those scraps and create a gift stash for future giving needs!
